$\frac{r}{R} = \frac{l_{1} - l_{2}}{l_{2}}$
here R=10 ohm
$l_{1}$ = 560 cm
$l_{2}$ =560-60=500 cm
$r = R \times (\frac{l_{1} - l_{2}}{l_{2}})$
$= 10 \times (\frac{560 - 500}{500})$
=1.2 ohm
