II. The citizens may not gamble in any other way if the lotteries are banned

A .  if only assumption I is implicit.
B .  if only assumption II is implicit.
C .  if either I or II is implicit.
D .  if neither I nor II is implicit.
E .  if both I and II are implicit.

Answer: (a)Assumption I is implicit as the govt’s moves are generally aimed at protecting the interests of the masses. But II is not implicit because of “any other way”. There might be other means of gambling which the govt does not consider significantly detrimental for the people
