Question -

Two particles are projected vertically upwards with the same velocity on two different planets with accelerations due to gravities  `g_1 and g_2` respectively . If they fall back to heir initial points of projection after lapse of time `t_1 and t_2` respectively . Then

Options:
A .  `t_1 t_2 = g_1 g_2`
B .  `t_1 g_1 = t_2 g_2`
C .  `(t_1g_2)/(t_2g_1) = 2`
D .  `t_1^2 + t_2^2 = g_1 + g_2`
Answer: Option B

In the absence of air ,

      t = time of flight

       = 3 x time of ascent

       = `2 xx u/g = (2u)/(g)`

`:.`       `t_1 = (2u)/(g_1)` ....................(i)

and     `t_2 = (2u)/(g_2)` ......................(ii)

Now from eq. (i) and (ii)

`:.`      `t_1 g_1 = t_2 g_2`
